GameOn Magazine

Issue 199 - May 2026 |

Welcome to issue 199 of The GameOn Magazine! Last issue you may have noticed that our back cover featured Crimson Desert, perhaps suggesting that we’d have a review within these very pages. Well, they released the game and then admitted to using generative AI. Why do I mention this right here? Because we’ve put together a statement about our coverage of AAA titles going forward. Our articles run a little longer this month, mostly because of the bumper sized From the Top, so blame/thank Martin for that. There are also looks back at The Division, the My Time At duology, and the Arkhamverse, as well as what you shouldn’t eat on Eat What You Want Day. The previews have Joshua sharpening his Bladesong, Bex polishing her Table Battle Simulator, and at least one game that’s due out in June. Finally, the reviews this issue see Alana humming ANTHEM#9, Mike lost in a Mirage 7, Ariel attending court-mandated Monster Girl Therapy, and Dylan living that Packing Life. Actually, those four wrote most of the reviews, so that doesn’t leave me much to tell you about, so you get along and enjoy your month. There’s plenty more, of course, so just get to reading and GameOn until next issue!
